Good Morning everyone!
I've decided to create this blog to tell you about what's happening on the run up to my 10K run (gulp) for Cancer Reasearch!
So as some of you will know I decided to sign up for it yesterday! I've never done anything like this before and think it's about time I did something for a good cause as well as myself. I need to quit smoking hehe, so amongst other things I will chat about in this blog, I'll keep you all updated to how I progress with this. So far today I've had two (bad girl) but I'm taking it easy until I finish what I've got in my box :P
As I've never done a 10k run before (or anything near that lol) I'm a bit unsure of how I even go about beginning to train for it...I've been google-ing "How do you begin to train for a 10k run" and so far I've had a couple of good sites which have little action plans of how you would divide up your training each week. So seeing as I've got 5 months to get fit and prepared for this, it shouldn't be a problem...
..well...I hope not anyway!
Anyways guys, I'm off to get myself some breakfast - The heathly eating started yesterday with a bowl of Special K for breakfast. I have the new Red Berry one to try today. Urgh. Deep joy...
